Diaper Punishment Techniques

... driving in Qatar.

You may remember my strokes of reds against Mexicans driving ... And after three months to drive on the Cote d'Azur I thought I saw everything in terms of lawless conduct. What a joke!

Driving in Qatar is downright stressful. Already
you must know that right now Doha is a huge construction site through which kinds of urban highways or main roads. Trunk constantly modified so that the GPS is never updated and mine I almost cry the other day, repeating endlessly: "turn right, turn right, turn right now "while I was unbeknownst to me voluntarily committed on a freeway and there was absolutely no exit in sight. Yes I know I am able to lost with a GPS but I put anyone to challenge not to get lost in Doha for the first 3 months!
On the main roads, where speed is "limited" to 100 or 80 km / h ride lot like crazy, you are stuck and flashed until you let go, I do not always, do not push it either ...
Removed from main roads are often tracks or less bumpy roads so we think there almost. It is generally limited to 50km / h but anyway it is unwise to exceed 30 ... And again work, work, work.

Then there are untold numbers of trucks, thousands of expatriates (especially those of the Indian subcontinent) that n have never had a wheel of the hands before being here. These are generally those who take the left lane at roundabouts to finally take the first exit, which will absolutely respect no priority and traveling at 40 on the fast sections ...

Roundabouts ... Talk about roundabouts. A real pleasure, especially at intersections with traffic lights but also in the middle of the roundabout. Lights that are sometimes (while working) replaced by traffic officers. There are very often at these roundabouts monumental traffic jams (I happened to spend close to 10 minutes). Besides, I heard the expats here do not calculate the distances in km but frankly roundabouts and live more than 3 roundabouts to the workplace or school for her children c ' galley is (I'm lucky, I only have 3 in one direction and 2 in the other, dock him however ...)

Here is a possible point (mine I have not seen that to have my license I have my first "Resident Permit" which is pending). As French we're lucky, we did not pass the driving test, ours is automatically validated but I know this is not the case for the Belgians (!) And Americans among others. The permit
Qatari there are 14 points at the start and when the balance reaches 0 license suspended for 3 months and gives you only 12. When these 12 points are exhausted license suspension for 6 months and it gives you 10 (and 9 months of suspension if they are exhausted) and 8 (and 1 year) then you must retake the permit.
It sounds a lot but we still know that a fire roasted red, they are 7 points which depart from a stroke (4 for speeding but only 1 stop for unmarked or for refusing to give his paper a policeman ...). You do not get a ticket you must regularly check on a official site (also in English ... fortunately) there is no fine associated with your number plate. Because a fine not paid can be very very annoying when you fly For example ...
If you want to know (among other a list of all penalties by type of crime) is an English here.

The positive (yes there is one) is that I found a big automatic car, a 4 * 4, a real thing (an "is-not-well-it-all -Kyoto, Emissions of carbon-foo-"@ The Piwi ;-)). I do not see myself not driving at all here in my hand because C3 is the one who passes aa bigger! And large, there, there's virtually the same as this: Texans are beaten flat seam.

Finally, and not to demoralize you I do you say nothing of the price of petrol ;-)
